I'm a top the mountain! Well, a top the big rock. Today I caught some frogs but also released the one I took home for a week ... Yeah my mom found out and boy she was sad about that one. Everything is ok now cause I put him back.. hopefully he will adjust to his habitat again? I love animals so I just wanted a pet frog. :)

"Campfire Therapy"

Today my hubby called to ask me to get ready to go to Green Point to have a wieny roast. We call that "Campfire Therapy" a time to unwind.. enjoy our family and have an all time favourite meal - a wieny roast. It was fun to see the kids catch the season's first frogs and have some good laughs. The kids even put their feet in the water. I am so glad my husband thinks of these things to inspire us for the week and to make memories!!!

April Fool's Day

Ok this is not something you see all the time on my hubby but he was such a good sport. Every April Fool's day we as a family get him in some way. This April fool's day was on a Sunday so we got our pastor involved with our surpise. All the girls knew and took great pride in keeping the secret. Brooke wrapped up a wig and a brush in a box. The pastor called Wes to the front and was asked what day it was. He opened up the box and put the wig on. For someone who shaves his head bald it was a great laugh. The congregation howled with laughter. of course we would never let him get away with not having April Fools.

I never knew how much I would love Chilliwack until I moved here. I mean I always wanted to move here. You just have to see the mountains and fall in love. I love my home my neighbourhood and the fact that everything is a hop, skip and jump away!

God must have loved me to move me here!!!
